🐴 Sanctuary Saturdays – Hands-On Animal Experience

Spend a special Saturday at the Northcote Heavy Horse Centre with our wonderful animals and friendly volunteer team! This relaxed, interactive 2-hour session is perfect for families, friends, or anyone who loves animals.

🌿 What’s Included:

• 🐴 Pony grooming

• 🦙 Llama walking

• 🦡 Ferret handling

• 🐐 Meet & feed our animals

• 💬 Short talk about some of their stories and personalities

Enjoy a calm and enjoyable visit, with a mix of hands-on fun and the chance to learn more about the animals who live here.

🎟 Pricing

• £30 per group (includes up to 4 people)

• + £5 per additional person

• Children under 10 go FREE

  All bookings must be made in advance. Children under the age of 10 go free, but still require a ticket so we can plan accordingly.

☕ Refreshments

Hot and cold drinks, cakes, crisps and snacks will be available to purchase on the day.

Activities may vary slightly depending on the weather, animal welfare, or other factors — but we’ll always find something fun to do or help you book another day if needed.

All proceeds go directly towards the care and wellbeing of the animals at our sanctuary.

Spaces are limited and pre-booking is essential.

Your session will last around 2 hours and includes animal activities such as pony grooming, llama walks, ferrets, and more. You may be joining other friendly groups during your visit.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events if necessary. If this happens, we’ll always do our best to offer an alternative date or refund.
