Amazing Animal Encounters
Our small charity gets creative to fund animal care. Join our VIP one-on-one Animal Experience Days to interact with and learn about our animals. You can groom, long rein, and interact with heavy horses, lead llamas on walks, learn about their behavior, get close to birds of prey, and play with ferrets. These days are fun, educational, and deepen your appreciation for our animals. Whether for yourself or as a gift, it's a unique experience for all.
Heavy horse experiences
Experience the pleasure of working alongside a true heavy horse, learn about their history and legacy in the world.
Start your day by learning about our gentle giants, and their various breeds before spending the afternoon learning how to tack-up, plait, long-reining, lead and walk them. Then relax by bathing your horse, and spending lots more personalised time with them.
No previous horse experience is necessary, and guests can meet our other animals too! A light lunch is also included.
Our heavy horse experience days are very unique and personal. They make great gifts for any occasion!

Llama handling and walking
Have you ever felt the urge to just one day walk a llama?! If so then we’ve got a treat for you!
We offer exciting opportunities to walk our llamas.
Our llama is friendly and easy to walk so there is no experience required! (Younger children will require supervision)
We will be on hand to help, supervise and answer lots of llama related questions you may have!
We can also offer goat walking (in training).

Bird of prey handling
Experience the elegance of a bird of prey. We can provide the opportunity to hold one of our resident birds of prey and have your photo taken with them.
Currently you can select either ‘Fal the barn owl’ or ‘Kookie the Kookaburra’. Both are very friendly and perfect for those who love birds of prey and have always wanted to get close to one.
We will also be available to answer any questions.
