Could you volunteer a few hours a week? You could help 'Muck out' the Horses in the mornings?
Or, you could help paint for us? Do some D.I.Y. Or some Garden Work? Advertising, you name it, you could probably help.
You don't even need to have Horse Experience, but it does help! If you're serious about volunteering, get in touch and we'll have a chat.

Display a Collection Box
If you're a business owner or a willing supporter
Then a positive way to help is to display a collection box in your store/stall/pub or anywhere. If you're able to help please let us know and we can send you a collection box with artwork.
If you're a willing supporter and think you could go out-and-about collecting on our behalf then please contact us to discuss it.

Come and Visit Us
If you can't spare the time, or can't afford to come and help with the horses, then how about just coming to see us when we're open? Admission is free and it's a great day out!
You could also come to our special event days. We'd love to see you!

The Northcote Heavy Horse Centre relies 100% on donations & support from people like you. Without your help we wouldn’t be here today.
There are lots of great ways to help and however you do, it really does count!
There are a lot of mouths to feed here at the Centre, each horse is individual, each horse has different needs, some need more food, and some need regular medication. During the colder parts of Winter many of the horses need rugs to keep warm. Of course the essentials are needed too, like water & shelter.
We can’t do all this on our own, we need your support so we can continue giving all the care, attention and love to all our residents whenever they need it.
However you choose to support the Centre, from us and all the horses, we give a great, great big “Thank You!”

Adopting a Northcote Horse
If you would love to help the horses, but can’t make it here then Adopting a horse could be for you. Most of the Northcote Horses are available to adopt, and if you do we’ll send out an adoption pack that includes a colour photograph, fact sheet, newsletter & certificate.

Shop
If you’ve got a favourite horse, then why not show them off on a t-shirt! Or display our sticker in your car window, buy a keyring, watch, tea towel or DVD, no matter how big or small, your sale means so much to the horses.

Shop Online and Raise Money with Easy Fund Raising!
Have you heard about easyfundraising yet? It’s the easiest way to help raise money for Northcote Heavy Horse Centre! If you already shop online with retailers such as Amazon, M&S, Argos, John Lewis, Comet, Vodafone, eBay, Boden and Play.com, then we need you to sign up for free to raise money while you shop!
So how does it work?
You shop directly with the retailer as you would normally, but if you sign up to http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/nhhc for free and use the links on the easyfundraising site to take you to the retailer, then a percentage of whatever you spend comes directly to us at no extra cost to yourself.
