Helping the Heavy Horse Centre
Volunteer
Could you volunteer a few hours a week? You could help 'Muck out' the Horses in the mornings, make their beds, wash them.
Or, you could help paint for us? Do some D.I.Y. Or some Garden Work? Advertising, you name it, you could probably help.
You don't even need to have Horse Experience, but it does help!

Come Visit Us
If you can't spare the time, or can't afford to come and help with the horses, then how about just coming to see us when we're open? Admission is free and it's a great day out!
You could also come to our special event days. We'd love to see you!

The Northcote Heavy Horse Centre relies on Help from You and others. If you're wondering HOW YOU CAN HELP. here's a few ways.
Volunteer, if you could spare a few hours during the week, helping 'muck-out' the horses, grooming, painting etc then we'd love to see you! See our Volunteer page for more info.
The Northcote heavy Horse Centre alwyas needs money to keep the horses. If you could spare anything we'd be so thankful. You can donate either by Paypal/Credit-Debit Card. Cheque or Postal Order. Please see our Donate Page for more info.
Another great way to help the Horse Centre is by Adopting a Horse! Not only does it help us Financially, but also helps show the love of the Horses. All our Horses are open to Adoptions. Prices start at £15 for Children and £25 for Adults. We send your proof of Adoption in a beautifly hand-crafted 'Adoption Pack'. Please see our Adoption Scheme page for full details. For several years now the Centre has hosted 'Themed Events', such as Medieval Days, Wild West Days and others. A great way to help is to simply come and watch. The more people we have at our events the more the 'Northcote Word' can spread. Please see our Events page for more info and upcoming dates.
If you can't make one of our Events then maybe you could come to a General Open Day. See our Opening Times page for days when we're open and our Visiting Page for full info. You can also download our Leaflet here, containing all the needed information.
If you didn't know, the Centre has a Shop! This is a perfect way to help us, buy a printed-shirt, mug or just a Car Sticker. Please Contact us and we'll add you to our Mailing List whereby in the late year we'll send you a Catalogue. Or whenever requested. You can also download it here.
